Saturday racing

Nowhere near the confidence as last week and we may not be racing in QLD.

If we doo, here are the links and I’ve done some Melbourne form for what it’s worth.

GOLD COAST TURF club will have a phantom meeting no matter what so still better than being at a pub. If we do race I say TAMILAIDE is the best. Be sure to jump on site and get your tickets to all the summer racing Saturdays!

*Also check in on the same page for last week blackbookers that will win soon.

Here are a few in Melbourne I’ll be having small plays on.

Caulfield Race 3 #3 LADY OF HONOUR $6

Just like what I see in her. She has the ability to take a sit up on speed or behind the leaders and the last 50m seems to be her best the last couple of starts. She looks to have great upside to me and this trip will suit. She looks the value in the race and the one I will save on is the fav DECENT RAINE who is also above average and a dominant winner last start.

Caulfield Race 5 #1 QUANTUM MECHANIC $5.50

She is a proper group horse and was excellent this track/trip at G1 level behind a potential freak two runs back. Then a bit below average last start but that was in a hot G1 Cantala. Can’t believe your getting e/w quotes and just needs a bit of luck from the gate or a good ride to be the horse to beat. If she doesn’t get the luck STEINEM is the one who will be strongest late and I could have a small saver on her.

Race 8 #10 ROYAL MILE $5.50

Initially I wanted to be with STARELLE as she’s a genuine G2 type of mare but she doesn’t win out of turn. This is a nice drop in grade for her though. This ROYAL MILE is underrated. His wins in the Port Adelaide Guines and the Chairmans were extremely good. I loved the effort where he sat off the tempo and savaged the line but has been racing forward since. Can roll forward and just park behind the leaders or even take it up if they walk early. He will give a great kick 3rd up and gets his chance to hold off the likes of STARELLE late. Happy for a little e/w on him.
