SIMPLY FLY– This horse just keeps improving and may be able to win one just before the guns come to town. Big track will always be better for it.
GEM OF SCOTLAND– I was far from convinced but now feel she may well be heading in the right direction. She is very good on her day and could still play a part over the carnival.
MAOZI– I’ve always liked this mare and off this trial Tuesday she can win a nice race this prep. Ready to go first up too I reckon.
HARD EMPIRE– Another Edmonds runner who trialled really well. Sat off them and not asked for much. Had a very good prep last time in and I’d expect more of the same.
PALLADAS- I may think this bloke is better than he is but we will find out this prep. Plenty of upside and this was a good tick over trial to start the prep off.
MISS HIPSTAR– I wasn’t as sold on this filly as many others were last prep but she did go on to prove herself. This was a lovely trial and I really think she might be an EF horse.
