No Syd expert by any means but I’ve had a bit of time to look them over.

No good things, just thought I’d share my thoughts.

Race 2:    4-12

WHEELHOUSE (now scratched means I won’t bet) on top but feel the market has it right. This horse is consistent and rock hard fit. Wide two back and tough before excellent at 2000m last start. Back to the mile on a soft track suit. KIKU the one who will flash late and might be good enough to run over them. THE IRISHMAN has been building this prep and looks really well placed also.

Race 6:   1-3-4

ANAMOE looks one of the days best and simply has to run up to the Slipper effort. The Slipper run was incredible but then again he’s a 2yr old and they all come to the end of it at some stage.

Race 7: THE DERBY

Boxing 1,3,7,10,16 (trifecta)

Race 9:  The Doncaster  1-19-9-20-18

MUGATOO is a bit of a freak and I feel he’s one of the best horses in the country. With any luck in running he’s the horse they all have to beat. His best is 2000m but off the prep he’s had the Randwick mile looks ideal for him. Easy to make a case for the 3yr olds. MO’UNGA is the horse with all the upside while AEGON gets the wet track to suit and FORBIDDEN LOVE was a complete forgive last start.

Race 10:   6-5-2-3

NEVER TALK should get a good run with cover and she has a great turn of foot when saved for the last crack. Reckon this sets up well and she deserves to start fav. Will be having something on SUPREME IDEA at $17 as well. The last two runs since the blinkers have been more than good enough for this. Beaten 0.4L in a G3 by MARACOURA and then 2nd to MARBOOSHA beaten 1.3L at Listed level. Looks over the odds
