Big, big query as too how much rain falls through the day. There is up to half an inch predicted and that will change this track dramatically.

*Very hard weekend to try and get excited about with all the rain.*

*Here is the early look at the CUP (can change before Saturday)

Race 6:

2-LE DON DE VIE

8-SWEET THOMAS

4-LONDON BANKER

LE DON DE VIE comes out of the Q-22 and nothing went right there. Drew out and then on the first corner a horse rolled back on him and he settled last. He was no chance from there, did run the 2nd best splits from the 800-200m and the run was far better than it looks on paper. Nash goes on here, handles all ground and hard to beat. LONDON BANKER had been solid all prep and the little drop in grade got him back into the winners circle last week. If the track isn’t too wet by this stage he’d be a hope. SWEET THOMAS is a similar story. His best form is on top of the ground but could still win if in the soft range. Just a superior stayer at 2400m+ and this should be a testing event.
