Well I might be working for the GCTC but gee I love the idea of this raceday and I am certain that in coming years it is going to be a mini Magic Millions day. For too long I’ve felt we are behind other states with our ideas but this whole raceday is excellent. THE WAVE is very different being a WFA for 3 + 4 yr olds but the concept is good. Having the two yr olds races the week before is a great opportunity for the Millions horses to make the field but my favourite part of the whole meeting is the two Class 4 plates worth $250,000. They are both full fields (and will be every year), they are good quality and will be outstanding punting races on the day.
