Just a few I mentioned on TWO FLOGS podcast.
One of the good tournaments on the PGA Tour. Short course so it is always interesting. Bit of everything, drivable greens, well placed pots and some water.
A stack of chances but on the podcast I am trying to give a Top Tip, Mid Range Tip and a Roughie when I can get over the tournaments before recording..
TRAVELLERS CHAMPIONSHIP:
Very hard to win in 100 person fields but it’s just a Guide for you if interested.
ON TOP:
SCHEFFLER $5
Clearly the one to beat. Hasn’t won since January is a surprise but he’s had 8 Top 10’s this year. Tied 4th at the Major last week and the best player in the world. Last three starts at the TRAVELLERS- 4th, 1st, 6th.
MID RANGE TIP:
MATT FITZPATRICK $19 – Feel $25 is more the right price.
Ranked 4th in the world and Has won three times this year. He was runner up a fortnight ago. Finished 22nd last week which was a good result. Best result here has been 17th but not many goes. He is ranked 1st in Approach to the Green on the PGA tour. Just loved the way he competes and he’s in form.
ROUGHIE:
ROBERT McINTYRE $51
Has not been in great form but I feel he is starting to find some good stuff. He is a real competitor and he’s been Top 20 in his only two starts here. Think he can surprise a few people this week and compete Sunday.
