This weekend I am previewing FRIDAY and Saturday at RACING.COM and as always have all the GCTC latest on their website.
FRIDAY is the sunny coast. Not a heap of races I want to focus on. Here’s a little sneak peak of one race. All the rest will be up after Scratchings 9am Friday: (This race may change but SACCA on top)
Race 6:
11-SACCA e/w $9/$3
8-ADONISEA
2-WOLF MOON
12-DECEMBER DIAMOND
Genuine Saturday race this, there are 5-6 you wouldn’t mind owning. WOLF MOON is 250 days between runs and has a bad gate but gee the most recent trial was good against nice horses. ADONISEA is so much better than what he did last start. Maybe he’s no good at Doomben but he loves this track. He will settle midfield so if it’s not a leader biased track (which it might be) he can run over them late. KELTER’S SHELTER has the ability to roll forward and gets in with 53kg. Last couple have been good enough to go close here. I reckon SACCA improves sharply off the 1st up run. He’s no star but has more wins in him. Raced really well last prep against horses who kept racing well since. Anything around the double figures looks generous. Handy race this and a few I haven’t mentioned that can win.

8-HELL I AM
9-NARNIA
3-SWISS EXILE
1-STUPENDO
Have liked SWISS EXILE all the way through and even last start was better than it looked after being wide the trip. Blinkers go on and he is a key runner again. Leaning to HELL I AM who comes out of the Wyong race. He was hard in the market there, never really got to balance up and when he did the run shut. Good debut effort and he looks one that could improve sharply off the debut. Trialled well enough on a soft 7 track before the debut. NARNIA is the unknown for me. Got back in a race where it probably didn’t suit and was good enough late. Bred to handle the cut out of the ground and blinkers go on. Could be another sharp improver at second career run.
