WHO’S THE BOSS?

When Falvelon’s 2YO gelding I Am Boss jumped straight to the lead, and was never headed, on Friday at Ipswich’s meeting, the Tony Sears trained youngster promoted his sire to the Number One position on the table for Australia’s Leading 2YO Sires by winners.

The Glenlogan Park stalwart now has the remarkable figures of having produced 6 winners from just 9 starters this season, possessing a winners-to-runners ratio that is easily the most impressive of the Top 10 stallions on this table.

Falvelon’s feats are even more remarkable when it is taken into account that one of his “non-winners” thus far is the incredibly talented Ambitious Blonde – a runner up to Oakleigh Girl in the Listed Calaway Gal Stakes at her only start.

Falvelon heads up a stellar list of sires that also includes his Glenlogan Park breeding barn mate Real Saga (currently sitting equal 3rd in Australia).

1.       FALVELON – 6 winners from 9 starters.

2.       SNITZEL  – 5 winners from 17 starters.

3.       REAL SAGA – 4 winners from 11 starters.

4.       STREET CRY – 4 winners from 8 starters.

5.       NOT A SINGLE DOUBT – 4 winners from 25 starters.

6.       I AM INVINCIBLE – 4 winners from 15 starters.
