*AN update from our mates and supporters at Topline.

Topline Thoroughbreds Aussie battler Zinedine has made a very impressive return to the track when taking out heat 6 over 900m at Gosford last week. Returning from and enforced lay off due to knee surgery Zinedine was comfortable throughout the trial leading the rest of the field up from pillar to post to claim first spot by a length.Trainer Todd Rawiller was very pleased with the fillies effort in the trial which confirmed the form she has been showing in her track work since resuming full training.

A three-year-old filly by home bred crack juvenile sprinter Zizou, Zinedine is out of the late Ecclectus who was a winner herself and has produced two foals to race. The two-year-old out of the family is a full brother and recently won the Inglis Classic over 1200m and in doing so picked up a handsome winners cheque of $154,500 taking his career earnings to $174,500 from just two starts.

Zinedine has pulled up in fine fashion after her trial win and has taken natural improvement from the run. All going to plan she will make her return to racing in a week or so time in Canberra. It is great to see her back and in such good fettle and we wish all of the connections the very best of luck with Zinedine in the coming preparation.
