A great call sending this meeting to EAGLE FARM. It dries better than any track in Australia and actually races better with rain around. It just allows them to let down instead of holding back. Hopefully a little rain through the day and it should be great.
My little query is how it plays with rail 7m. Has to be a little chance it plays to the front but lets hope it’s perfect.

Race 8:
9-MAZU
I’d love to tell you I’m confident, but I am not. This is a doozy. ROTHFIRE and ZOUSTYLE are the leaders and they may just fire up. If they do, they will string out and anything is a hope. MAZU looks a genuine star on the rise, but all his four straight wins have been on wet tracks (three of them heavy). I think he’s just as good on top of the ground and he looks well placed. He has some tactical speed and should get some cover in the first half of the field. From there we see how good he is, I think he might be very good. PAULELE has been good through the Sydney carnival on bottomless tracks. He will enjoy better conditions and looks one of the main hopes in this. ISOTOPE and ENTRIVIERE would have been right in the thick of my numbers from good gates, now they need very good rides. KEMENTARI is impossible to catch but his best is more than up to this. He did beat COUNT DE RUPPEE in Sydney and then that horse come up and won the G2 Victory stakes. They both have to be considered in everything. Not much between a lot of them and I’m just leaning to the one on the way up in MAZU.
