DREAM SMART– Has very good support, kicked and looked home before getting nailed very late. Can win easier next time out.
FORTUNEER– The runner up Ringer’s Reward is a solid horse that runs well in these races all the time. The quinella put a gap in the rest of them which is a good sign. This horse has been excellent this prep and has a heap of upside.
MASTER MAURICE– Gate dictated that Maloney had to go back but then he got further back and no chance on the corner. With a better gate and ride he can improve sharply.
