Matthew Dunn has his Murwillumbah stable up and firing again with a couple of nice horses returning soon. LONDAHERO is on his way back and will try to pick off some nice races this time in work. Unfortunately THE WHITE HOPE has had to be tipped out and we won’t see him for a while.
The stable do have some nice yearlings that have now done some work and may even get to the two year old trials this time in work. Here is an update on some of those available:
*** Real Saga / Galena Lodge is about to commence the pace work stage of her prep.
Matthew is very happy with the way she is progressing, and in typical Real Saga sired foals, she will not be to far away from the early 2yo races when the whips are cracking.***
*** Nicconi / Lesmartre is progressing well and will begin her pace work phase next week, she is taking in her stride all that Matthew is asking of her and she will be monitored as to whether she will have a short break or continue through to the early 2yo trials.***
***Show A Heart / Tender Truce has been through barrier practice,and he has performed very well,after completing some pace work he will go for a short break before returning to Matthew as scheduled.***
***Starcraft / Cooperpedy did extremely well whilst in the stable enviroment.
He handled the education prep fantastic. He had a few short gallops and is a very switched on customer. He has gone for a short break and will return late July, early August.***
***Not A Single Doubt / Chateau Marmont has been moved to a spelling facility at Toowoomba, there she will have the freedom of just being a horse for around 6 – 8 weeks. We are looking forward to her returning to begin her thoroughbred racing career.***
