The trials at Doomben had plenty of good efforts, here’s some to follow.
BIRRIECART- Has shown very good ability and this was a nice comeback trial. Held off some good ones and will be winning races.
TRANQUIL BAY- Nothing spectacular but just a nice day out and a good trial. Lightly raced CL1 mare who can go through the grades up here.
ARENTEE- I underrated him last prep but won’t be this time. EXTREMIST also good here. They went head to head and put a huge gap on the rest of them. Nice trials!
SHE’S A ROGUE- Collett couldn’t actually make it go any slower. (hence the slow time) Looked pretty handy here and no doubt it might trial again soon and we will get a better guide.
HELLUVA BARTY and DEER TRAIL- Both let down nicely and both looked to have a bit more to give. I’d be surprised if they don’t both win races early in their careers once they step out.
